Since 2019, I’ve been reporting and photographing stories for my neighborhood’s community newspaper. Most assignments start with a conversation and end with a better understanding of the people doing the good work that defines the rocking eastside of St. Paul.
The Dayton’s Bluff District Forum has been published in the neighborhood since 1982 and prints monthly. It’s volunteer-run, nonprofit, and supported by advertisers and community members who still believe local journalism is worth ink, paper, and attention.
