about me
I live in a historic home on the East Side of Saint Paul that I am constantly rehabilitating. I work as a Communications Specialist for a local environmental nonprofit, collecting visual and verbal tales aimed to inspire—within brand—then creatively assemble these stories to shine in social media, blogs, advertising & print. I volunteer as a staff writer for my neighborhood paper The Dayton’s Bluff District Forum covering community events and aesthetic. My inspiration to write stems from my love of gardening as I cultivate the stories that blossom from within the cracks of life around me..
Where I've been. Where I'm Going.
I am a graduate of Metro State University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in English with the honor of Summa Cum Laude. During my tenure as a student, I was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success where I learned how to network with my peers, set and achieve S.M.A.R.T. goals, and become an inspired leader. Along my career journey into the music business, I have filled many roles; including producer, sales manager, public relations, on-air radio talent and purchasing manager. Each of these positions sharpened my communication skills as I cultivated my passion for writing. It didn’t matter if it was a press release, newsletter, product description, artist bio, or a social media post. I discovered joy in the power of the written word to inspire, sell, and most importantly to tell a story. Community, family, and our shared connection through the stories we tell have inspired me to redirect my career to the written word for I truly believe it is a bridge to our shared humanity. Every business, person, and product have a story to tell. I’m excited to uncover your unique narrative and work with you to create your own personal or professional brand. So, what’s your story?
